Glen Echo Country Club, Private golf course in Normandy, Missouri, US
The Glen Echo Country Club features an 18-hole course with Zoysia grass fairways and bent grass greens spread across rolling terrain.
The course, completed in 1901 by Scottish designer James Foulis, holds distinction as the first 18-hole golf establishment west of the Mississippi River.
Members engage in regular tournaments, social gatherings, and special events throughout the year, fostering a strong community within the club.
The facility includes a driving range with separate tees for short and long practice, plus dedicated areas for chipping and bunker practice.
The course made history by hosting the golf competition during the 1904 Summer Olympics, marking the first Olympic golf event in the United States.
