Josiah Bartlett House

The two-and-a-half-story wooden residence features Greek Revival elements, including corner pilasters and a front door surrounded by decorative columns.

Josiah Bartlett, a physician and signer of the Declaration of Independence, constructed this house in 1774 after his previous residence burned down.

The house displays medical instruments from the 18th century in its parlor, reflecting Bartlett's work as a physician during the American Revolution.

The property spans 4,600 square feet with four bedrooms and maintains many original architectural features from the late 18th century.

A linden tree on the property grew from a sapling Bartlett brought back from Philadelphia after signing the Declaration of Independence.
