Oak Hill Country Club, Private golf course in Pittsford, United States.
Oak Hill Country Club is a private golf and country club in Pittsford, New York, with two championship courses spread over roughly 355 acres (144 hectares). The East Course, designed by Donald Ross, is considered one of the most challenging layouts in the United States.
The club was founded in 1901 along the Genesee River and moved to Pittsford in 1921 after the University of Rochester exchanged land. Since then, the East Course has been revised and remodeled several times for major tournaments.
The clubhouse serves as a central gathering point where members participate in social events, charitable functions, and community activities throughout the year.
The club is open only to members and their guests, with no public access or tours available. Beyond the golf courses, the property includes tennis courts, an aquatics center, and other sports facilities on the grounds.
The East Course is the only course in America to have hosted all six major men's championships, including several PGA Championships and U.S. Opens. These tournaments brought players from around the world to Pittsford and made the club internationally known.
