Ogilvie Raceway, dirt clay oval
Ogilvie Raceway is a dirt racing track in Minnesota with a banked oval layout approximately one-third of a mile long. The facility features four turns and can accommodate around 3,500 spectators in the grandstands.
The raceway was founded in 2009 by Corey Owens and Lucas Ostermann, holding its first races in late May. It gained national recognition when it hosted the World of Outlaws Late Model Series in 2017 and 2018.
The raceway takes its name from the nearby town of Ogilvie. It serves as a gathering place where spectators bond over racing, share meals, and cheer for local drivers who represent their community.
The track sits next to Highway 23, making it easy to locate with simple gravel parking available. Arrive early on race days to secure good spots and enjoy the weekly Saturday night events running from April through October.
The raceway expanded in 2016 by building an outdoor go-kart track alongside the main circuit. This addition allows young drivers and families to experience racing at a smaller scale while introducing more people to motorsport.
