RKO Keith's Theater, Movie palace in Flushing, Queens, United States.
The theater features Spanish Colonial Revival architecture with a three-story facade, incorporating intricate plaster decorations throughout its grand foyer and lobby spaces.
Built in 1928 by architect Thomas W. Lamb, the Keith-Albee Theater transformed into RKO Keith's following the acquisition by RKO Pictures in the early 1930s.
The venue hosted performances by Bob Hope, Judy Garland, and the Marx Brothers before transitioning from vaudeville shows to motion picture screenings.
The theater underwent conversion into a three-screen multiplex in 1977 to accommodate changing entertainment preferences in the Flushing neighborhood.
The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the theater's ticket lobby and grand foyer as protected interior landmarks in 1984.
