Riverview Farm Park

Riverview Farm Park is a public recreational space sprawling across approximately 280 acres with paved pathways, athletic fields, and a large play area called Fantasy Farm. The grounds also include picnic shelters and rest areas for visitors.

The park came into existence as part of Newport News' planning and development of public recreational spaces for the community. Its creation reflects the city's commitment to providing green spaces and outdoor opportunities for its residents.

This space brings together residents of all ages who use it for recreation and community gatherings throughout the year. Families and groups regularly visit to enjoy outdoor time and participate in neighborhood activities.

The grounds feature multiple facilities including restrooms, picnic areas, and approximately 2 miles of paved pathways suitable for walking and biking. The infrastructure is designed to be accessible to visitors of different abilities.

A paved trail connects the Visitor Center directly to the banks of the Warwick River, offering views of the waterway along the walk. This water feature adds a scenic element often overlooked by casual visitors.
