Silver Lake State Park extends across 34 acres of land along the northern shore of an 84-acre lake in central Vermont.
The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation established Silver Lake State Park in 1955 to provide public access to outdoor recreation.
The park represents Vermont's dedication to maintaining natural spaces where residents gather for summer activities and winter sports throughout the year.
The park maintains 40 tent sites, 7 lean-to spaces, restrooms with running water, hot showers, and a sanitary station for campers.
During winter months, the frozen surface of Silver Lake transforms into a natural space for ice skating and fishing activities.
