TPC Southwind, Professional golf course in Memphis, United States.
TPC Southwind is a professional golf course spanning more than 7,200 yards with numerous bunkers and water hazards throughout. The layout combines Bermuda grass greens with Zoysia fairways, and facilities include a large clubhouse, tennis courts, and swimming pools for members.
Ron Prichard designed the course in 1988 with input from PGA Tour professionals Hubert Green and Fuzzy Zoeller. It was built on land that previously operated as a working dairy farm.
The course maintains a connection with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through its annual professional golf tournament. This partnership shapes how the place is experienced by players and spectators throughout the year.
The facility is well-equipped with amenities including dining options and support services for members. Visiting during cooler months generally offers more comfortable playing conditions on this course.
Two grain silos and a windmill from the original dairy farm still stand on the grounds. These structures remain visible and integrated into the landscape, connecting the past to the present course layout.
