The Col Ballroom, Historic ballroom in Davenport, Iowa, United States.

The Col Ballroom stands as a brick structure with steel framing and an arched roof featuring corner pavilions on West Fourth Street in Davenport.

Built in 1914 by Leo Kerker, this ballroom replaced the original Coliseum that burned down in 1913 and received National Register of Historic Places status in 1983.

The venue emerged from German-American musical traditions, hosting the Saengerfest festival that brought together singing groups from across the Mississippi River Valley.

The building contains a large dance floor and maintains its original architectural elements, including individual tiles spelling 'Coliseum' on the exterior facade.

Many performers who played at the venue, including B.B. King, Duke Ellington, and Johnny Cash, left their signatures on the interior walls of the building.
