The Gateway, Mixed-use development in New Brunswick, US
The Gateway rises 23 floors at Somerset Street, incorporating residential units, retail spaces, and offices across its 623,893 square feet structure.
Construction began in June 2009 with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by Governor Jon S. Corzine, marking a significant step in New Brunswick urban development.
The Barnes & Noble bookstore within the building functions as the Rutgers University bookstore, providing educational resources for students and the local community.
The structure contains 656 parking spaces across nine levels and connects to Rutgers College Avenue Campus through a dedicated pedestrian bridge.
A large clock displaying R-U-T-G-E-R-S letters decorates the main facade of this 298-foot tall building, which opened in September 2012.
