The Witch House, 17th-century historic house in Salem, United States.

The two-story timber-frame residence features steep gables, overhanging upper floors, and a central chimney characteristic of New England colonial architecture.

Judge Jonathan Corwin purchased this house in 1675 and conducted preliminary examinations of individuals accused during the Salem witch trials of 1692.

The interior rooms display period furnishings and household items that represent the daily life of a wealthy New England family during the colonial period.

The museum opens daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with guided tours available at 310 Essex Street in downtown Salem, Massachusetts.

The structure underwent relocation in the 1940s, moving 35 feet from its original position to prevent demolition during road expansion projects.
