The Witch House, Historic residence museum in Salem, United States.
The Witch House contains preserved colonial furnishings and architectural elements from the 17th century, representing domestic life in Massachusetts during that period.
Jonathan Corwin, a judge during the Salem Witch Trials of 1692, owned this timber-frame house and participated in the examination of over 150 accused persons.
The museum presents exhibits about colonial social beliefs, religious practices, and legal procedures that led to mass accusations of witchcraft in Salem.
Located at 19 1/2 Washington Square North, the museum opens daily from 10 AM to 5 PM, with extended hours in summer and October.
The structure remains the last standing building in Salem with direct connections to the witch trials of 1692.
