Willowbrook Museum Village
Willowbrook Museum Village, Open-air museum in Newfield, United States.
The museum complex spans 10 acres with 34 historical buildings arranged around a mill pond created by damming Chellis Brook.
The site functioned as Newfield's town center until 1947 when a devastating wildfire swept through York County and damaged numerous structures.
Demonstrations of traditional crafts including blacksmithing, knife making, woodworking, and metal casting occurred regularly at the museum until 2016.
The museum collection transferred to Curran Homestead Village at Fields Pond & Newfield on January 1, 2017, following financial difficulties.
An 1894 Armitage-Herschell carousel, housed in a round barn, operated at public gatherings in York and Cumberland counties from 1896 to 1922.
