The Rogers Commercial Historic District contains multiple buildings that showcase Renaissance Revival architecture with classical forms and ornamental details throughout the structures.

Originally designated as the Walnut Street Historic District in 1988, this area expanded in 1993 to include additional commercial buildings constructed between 1885 and 1943.

The district represents the evolution of Rogers' commercial center through its collection of Italianate, Colonial Revival, and Spanish Colonial Revival architectural styles.

Property owners within the district may qualify for investment tax credits designated for rehabilitation projects that maintain historical architectural features.

The district expanded multiple times, incorporating the Victory Theater in 2002 and the 200 block of West Elm Street in 2012.
