William Goadby Loew House, English Regency mansion in Carnegie Hill, United States.

The William Goadby Loew House stands at 56 East 93rd Street, featuring precise architectural details and symmetrical proportions characteristic of English Regency design.

Built in 1931 by architectural firm Walker & Gillette for stockbroker William Goadby Loew, the mansion later transformed into the Smithers Alcoholism Center.

The property represents the architectural heritage of Manhattan's Upper East Side, joining other significant structures within the Carnegie Hill Historic District.

The mansion now functions as part of the Spence School's Lower School, located near the former Mrs. Graham Fair Vanderbilt House at 60 East 93rd Street.

The residence earned recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 and received New York City Landmark status on March 14, 1972.
