McDonnell Park, County park in Central St. Louis County, Missouri, United States.
McDonnell Park is a county park spanning 131 acres across the borders of four municipalities in St. Louis County with walking trails throughout. The landscape features open green spaces, mature trees, and a natural amphitheater set into the terrain.
The site was first established in 1977 as Adie Road Parksite and became an official county park a year later. It received its current name in 1980 in honor of a prominent local figure.
The natural amphitheater here regularly hosts local performances and community events that draw visitors from the surrounding neighborhoods. The park's location at the intersection of several municipalities makes it a gathering spot where residents from different areas meet.
Two main shelters offer water, electricity, grilling facilities, and restroom access for visitors planning gatherings. The park is accessible by car with parking areas and easy walking routes throughout the grounds.
A 1.6-mile fitness trail runs through the park with 16 exercise stations spaced along the route. This path allows visitors to combine walking with activity breaks using installed equipment.
