Greek Peak, Ski resort in Virgil, United States
Greek Peak Mountain Resort is a ski area with 55 runs spread across three ridges reaching an elevation of about 2,100 feet (640 meters). The facility operates six chairlifts and two surface lifts to move skiers efficiently across the terrain.
This ski resort opened in 1958 and grew from a small local destination into the largest skiing facility in central New York. Over the decades, the operation expanded with additional lifts and terrain.
The resort welcomes skiers of all physical abilities through its adaptive skiing program. Visitors with disabilities can take lessons and use specialized equipment designed to help them enjoy the slopes alongside other skiers.
Visitors can rent equipment on-site if they do not bring their own. Snowmaking covers most of the terrain, so conditions remain consistent throughout the season.
The facility includes an indoor waterpark with slides and pools located on the grounds. This allows visitors to enjoy both skiing and water activities without leaving the resort.
