The Memorial Union spans 168,000 square feet across three floors, containing dining facilities, conference rooms, and numerous multipurpose spaces for campus activities.
Opening in 1925, this structure became the first student union west of the Mississippi River and the eighth student union in North America.
The Memorial Union functions as a central gathering place where students, faculty, staff, and community members connect through various educational and social activities.
The building operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., providing access to dining services and study areas.
Four major expansions have transformed the Memorial Union from its original design into a modern facility that honors student veterans from multiple military conflicts.
