Pedra da Santana, Natural rock formation in Paramirim, Brazil
The Pedra da Santana consists of a massive stone measuring 21 meters in length, supported by three smaller rocks at a height of 75 centimeters.
Located at an altitude of 938 meters, this formation represents one of only two documented dolmen structures discovered throughout Brazil.
The local community of Santana maintains strong connections to this geological formation, with multiple generations sharing their experiences and memories.
Visitors can reach the formation by traveling 13 kilometers from the center of Paramirim, through paths surrounded by numerous Licuri palm trees.
The stone features a circumference of 9.20 meters and stands as a geological anomaly, with its formation process remaining a subject of scientific investigation.
