Toni's Zoo

Toni's Zoo is an animal park in the rural area of Rothenburg that houses more than 400 animals from around 97 different species. The grounds feature open-air enclosures where visitors can observe the animals throughout the day.

The zoo was founded to provide visitors with insights into animal life and establish the region as a destination for nature enthusiasts. Over time, it has developed into an important learning center for environmental education.

The zoo organizes daily feeding demonstrations of penguins at 4:00 PM on weekdays, allowing visitors to observe their natural feeding behaviors.

The grounds are flat and easy to navigate, with wide paths between the various enclosures. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and bring plenty of water on warm days.

The zoo offers a sponsorship program where visitors can support the care and feeding of individual animals. This system directly connects visitors with the animals they observe and contributes to their well-being.
