Bergen-Belsen was a Nazi concentration camp located in northern Germany.
Initially established as a prisoner of war camp, it became a concentration camp in 1943.
Anne Frank and her sister Margot both died here in February or March 1945.
Today, Bergen-Belsen serves as a museum and a memorial dedicated to the victims.
Unlike many other camps, there were no gas chambers at Bergen-Belsen.
