Okodorf Sieben Linden is a settlement on 100 hectares of land, including 80 hectares of sustainably managed forest. The village consists of straw-bale houses and modern living units that accommodate around 120 people.
The settlement began in 1997 when initial residents moved into temporary trailers on 25 hectares. Over the years the project expanded to use significantly more land.

The site offers information about sustainable living through visits and tours that show how the community operates. The best time to visit is during warmer months when outdoor spaces and gardens are accessible.
The Strohpolis is the largest straw-bale building in Europe and showcases innovative construction using natural materials. This structure embodies how sustainability can be applied in large-scale building projects.
