Kirche Zum Heiligen Kreuz, Catholic church in Wilmersdorf, Germany
The red brick church features Gothic elements and integrates into the northern row of houses along Hildegardstraße with a single-nave hall design.
The church, constructed between 1911 and 1912 by architect Max Hasak, was consecrated by Bishop Georg Cardinal von Kopp on May 12, 1912.
The sanctuary contains a block altar modified from the original, featuring a pelican symbol of Jesus Christ with four red marble pillars.
The church provides regular Catholic services and maintains a kindergarten established in 1992 for families in the surrounding neighborhood.
Following reorganization in 2024, the church became part of the new St. Helena – Wilmersdorf-Friedenau parish after serving as a subsidiary of Mary under the Cross.
