Molzmühle Wegberg-Rickelrath

Molzmühle is a watermill building in Rickelrath that combines traditional mill architecture with modern hotel facilities. The property features seven double rooms furnished with antiques, a restaurant, and conference spaces accommodating up to 40 people.

The building was constructed in 1397 and originally served for grain processing for the local population. Later it was transformed into a hotel and restaurant while preserving much of its historical character.

The mill takes its name from its original purpose and demonstrates how traditional milling shaped the region's daily life. Visitors can observe the old building techniques and understand the role such places held in the community.

Visitors can check in from 11 AM and use the rooms and restaurant facilities. The conference areas work well for small meetings and gatherings, with the entire property being easy to navigate.

The restaurant area opens to a beer garden situated within a forested setting. From this spot, visitors have direct access to numerous walking trails that run through the surrounding woodland.
