Schloss Lindach

The castle features a quadrangular tower at its foundation, with stone walls incorporating a Renaissance structure and a spiral staircase tower added in 1624.

The original structure dates back to the Staufer period, with significant modifications made in 1580 when the gate was constructed and in 1583 with the addition of a round tower.

The castle has served multiple functions through centuries, from a noble residence to a restaurant, sanatorium, and a place of worship for the Seventh-day Adventist Reform Movement.

Located at coordinates 48.83N and 9.80945E, the castle underwent medical facility operations until 2008 and returned to private ownership in 2014.

Duke Albrecht Eugen of Württemberg and his wife Nadejda of Bulgaria resided in the castle, marking a period of royal inhabitants in its history.
