Berlin-Pavillon, Cultural heritage monument and restaurant in Hansaviertel, Germany.
The Berlin Pavilion features modernist architecture with glass walls, clean lines, and an open floor plan spanning 450 square meters of exhibition space.
Architects Hermann Fehling, Daniel Gogel, and Peter Pfankuch constructed the pavilion in 1957 for the International Building Exhibition Interbau in Berlin.
The pavilion initially displayed architectural models of Berlin's urban development plans and hosted exhibitions about the reconstruction of Hansaviertel district.
The restaurant operates in a transformed space that maintains the original architectural elements while incorporating modern dining facilities and conference rooms.
Artist Ben Wagin initiated his environmental art engagement at this location in 1966 by declaring himself a tree guardian of the pavilion grounds.
