Prior to 1998, the Landhaus Ettenbühl functioned as a private garden dedicated to preserving historical roses and maintaining traditional English garden practices.
The Landhaus includes South Germany's largest hornbeam labyrinth and offers educational programs about English garden traditions and cultivation techniques.
Visitors can access the restaurant, tearoom, and garden shop without purchasing admission to the main gardens, with last entry at 18:30 each day.
The garden maintains connections with international breeders and botanical institutions, resulting in a collection of 1,000 rose varieties and rare trees from global locations.
