Pfarrkirche, Catholic church in Memmelsdorf, Germany
The Pfarrkirche features a Gothic choir tower, Baroque nave, and stucco flat ceiling, complemented by Rococo altars from the eighteenth century.
Construction of the Pfarrkirche dates back to 1301, with a major reconstruction in 1651 following war damage and subsequent expansion in 1707.
Leonhard Dientzenhofer designed the west facade, adorned with Prince Bishop Lothar Franz von Schönborn's coat of arms and sculptures by Johann Caspar Metzner.
The church remains open until 5:00 PM daily, with the parish office operating Monday, Tuesday, Friday from 8:00 AM to noon and Thursday 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Ferdinand Tietz, whose grave lies near the church, created sculptures for the cemetery wall, now preserved at Schloss Seehof with copies displayed on the church wall.
