Glavendrup stone, Norse runestone in Glavendruplunden, Denmark
The Glavendrup stone displays 210 runic letters carved into its surface, making it the Danish runestone with the longest inscription currently known.
During the early 10th century, Ragnhild commissioned this stone to commemorate her husband Alle, who held positions as both priest and chieftain.
The inscription invokes Thor to protect the runes and includes a warning curse against anyone who might damage or move the stone.
Visitors can find the stone within a stone ship formation that measures 60 meters in length and contains nine empty burial sites.
The runic text follows the RAK style, characterized by straight text bands without decorative elements such as serpent or beast heads.
