Oregaard, Manor house in Nordfyn Municipality, Denmark.

Oregaard is a three-winged manor house in Nordfyn Municipality with sections dating from the early 1600s and later additions from the early 1900s. The building clearly shows how architectural styles and construction methods changed across different periods of Danish history.

The estate was established in 1660 when royal treasurer Henrik Müller received crown lands and merged two farms into what became Oregaard. Over the following centuries the property was rebuilt and expanded several times, reflecting the changing demands placed on such large landholdings.

The estate reflects the tradition of Danish manor houses, where such residences served as centers for managing surrounding lands. Visitors can still see how the different building sections show the various functions these agricultural operations once had.

The manor house sits in the rural countryside of Funen and can be viewed from the outside like many other Danish estates. Visitors should expect uneven grounds and older building structures, and must respect private property boundaries at all times.

The Hellemann family has owned the estate since 1865, maintaining an unbroken chain of family stewardship that spans nearly 160 years. This continuity makes it a rare example of long-term family management among Denmark's manor house properties.
