Pärnu Mud Baths, Neoclassical spa building in Pärnu, Estonia.
The Pärnu Mud Baths stands as a symmetrical white structure with classical columns and large windows facing the Baltic Sea shoreline.
Established in 1838 as a seaside bathing house, the current building was constructed in 1927 after the original structure burned during World War I.
The mud baths exemplify Estonian wellness traditions, utilizing therapeutic mud from Pärnu Bay for health treatments since the nineteenth century.
Located in central Pärnu, the renovated facility now operates as Hedon Spa Hotel, offering mud therapy treatments and modern wellness services.
Three Estonian architects - Olev Siinmaa, Erich von Wolffeldt, and Aleksander Nürnberg - combined their expertise to design this medical facility.
