Pärnu Beach

Pärnu Beach is a 2-kilometer stretch of sandy coastline in Estonia with shallow waters that warm comfortably during summer. The wide beach is well-equipped and attracts swimmers of all ages.

The beach developed as a bathing resort at the end of the 19th century when parks and villas were built in the surrounding area. This architectural growth transformed it into a popular holiday destination for regional society.

The Ladies' Beach area has become a social gathering place where locals spend leisure time together in the traditional Estonian way. Families and groups gather on the wide sand, continuing customs passed down through generations.

During the peak season from June to August, lifeguards monitor the beach area and use flag signals to indicate water safety. Visitors should pay attention to these signals and use the designated swimming zones.

The beach holds the international Blue Flag certification, a mark of high standards in environmental protection and safety. This seal shows that the location meets strict requirements and undergoes regular inspections.
