Moltke's Palace, Rococo palace in Amalienborg, Denmark
The palace features four wings with intricate sandstone decorations, including elephants and lion heads adorning the baroque exterior facades.
Lord High Steward Adam Gottlob Moltke commissioned the construction of this palace between 1750 and 1754 under architect Nicolai Eigtved's supervision.
The Great Hall contains wooden carvings by Louis August le Clerc, paintings by François Boucher, and stucco work by Giovanni Battista Fossati.
The palace serves as a reception venue for state visits and accommodates gatherings of up to 700 guests in its multiple halls.
The Gyldne Sal received a transformation in 2007 with murals by sculptor Bjørn Nørgaard depicting craft history through colorful artworks.
