Casa de los Botines, Gothic Revival museum in León, Spain

Casa de los Botines displays a trapezoidal shape with four corner towers, steep slate roofs, and a central stone sculpture of Saint George.

Antoni Gaudí designed this building in 1891 for textile merchants Simón Fernández and Mariano Andrés, completing the construction in just ten months.

The structure holds both a Bien de Interés Cultural status and UNESCO World Heritage designation, representing Spanish architectural innovation of the late 19th century.

The museum maintains regular visiting hours from Thursday through Monday, with extended hours on weekends and remains closed every Tuesday.

During a 1950 restoration, workers discovered original building plans and news articles sealed within a lead tube beneath the Saint George sculpture.
