The Palacio del Conde Luna combines Gothic and Renaissance architectural elements, featuring ornate stone facades, double arches, and decorative coats of arms.
Built in the 14th century as the seat of the Kingdom of León, the palace received a Renaissance tower addition during the 16th century renovation.
The palace houses the León Center, an international study facility operated by the University of Washington, fostering educational and research activities.
Visitors can join free guided tours on weekends, with sessions at 11:00 and 13:00, restricted to groups of five people per visit.
The palace walls contain carved wooden ceilings with colored decorations, while its Gothic section displays a Moorish double arch panel.
