Veteran’s Home Museum

The Veteran's Home Museum exhibits uniforms, weapons, documents, and personal artifacts that tell the stories of Finnish military service members and their experiences.

Following its establishment in 2000, this museum has collected and preserved military memorabilia, focusing on the contributions of Finnish veterans throughout different conflicts.

The museum presents exhibitions about the Lotta Svärd organization, highlighting the role of Finnish women who provided essential support services during wartime operations.

Located at Torkkelinkatu 3, opposite the State Hotel in Imatra, the museum maintains collections of historical military items and photographs for research purposes.

The museum contains four distinct photography collections documenting both interior and exterior spaces, creating a complete visual record of the institution.
