Rocher Mistral

Rocher Mistral is a leisure park set on historic grounds near castle ruins, where actors perform stories on multiple stages. The shows include theatrical presentations, stunts, and multimedia displays that blend history with entertainment.

The site dates back to the 11th century, when a fortress stood here and later became the scene of local conflicts. In 1630, farmers destroyed parts of the structure during an uprising, marking a turning point in the location's past.

The daily shows present Provençal traditions through stories of medieval knights and local legends that connect visitors with regional identity. These performances happen across different spots in the park, intertwining theater with the place's character.

The park is open during warm months and visitors can spend several hours here watching different shows. It helps to arrive early and wear comfortable shoes, since walking around the grounds is done on foot.

As darkness falls, the castle walls become screens for light projections where historical scenes unfold in real time. This nighttime technique creates an immersive experience that daylight cannot match.
