Tour INSEE, Office tower in Malakoff, France

The INSEE Tower stands 48 meters tall with thirteen floors, featuring a tripod structure and curved facade enhanced by aluminum window sills.

Built in 1974 by architects Denis Honegger and Serge Lana, the tower served as headquarters for the National Institute of Statistics until 2018.

The tower represents 1970s architectural design principles with its pragmatic approach, focusing on functional workspace efficiency in the Paris region.

In late 2021, demolition permits were approved to replace the building with new offices, despite petitions gathering over 19,000 signatures opposing this decision.

The building's distinctive prow-shaped gables include a central split that channels natural light into the stairwell through the structure's core.
