Ardvourlie Castle, Category B listed country house in Harris, Scotland.

The stone building extends across three floors with pitched slate roofs and offers views of Loch Seaforth from multiple vantage points.

Built in 1863 as a hunting lodge for Charles Murray, the 7th Earl of Dunmore, the castle later belonged to aviator Thomas Sopwith and Lord Leverhulme.

The property represents the evolution of Scottish estate management, transitioning from a private residence to a seven-bedroom shooting lodge near the water.

Located ten miles from Tarbert, the castle includes thirteen acres of land with young woodland, open hillside, rocks, and a jetty into the loch.

The castle features staggered lawns defined by stone walls and sandstone steps that lead to a winter pond attracting local wildlife species.
