Fort Perch Rock, Grade II* listed coastal fort in New Brighton, United Kingdom.
The coastal defense fortress spans 4,000 square yards with walls reaching 32 feet high and towers extending to 40 feet at the mouth of Liverpool Bay.
Built between 1825 and 1829 using red sandstone from Runcorn quarries, Fort Perch Rock protected the Port of Liverpool with 18 mounted guns.
The fort functions as a museum displaying military aviation and maritime exhibits while hosting regular cultural events throughout the year.
Visitors can explore the fort daily from 10 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and until 10 PM on weekends, including access to The Mess cafe.
The fort features World War Two themed escape rooms within its 15-foot thick sandstone walls, offering an interactive historical experience.
