The Stanford family, former residents of Preston Manor for over 200 years, left collections of furniture, ceramics, glass, silver, and clocks on display.

The manor offers limited wheelchair access to the basement and ground floor, with a ramped side entrance available instead of the main stepped entrance.

The property contains a walled garden with four connected sections, featuring an 18th-century design, a sensory area, and a dedicated pet cemetery.
