St John the Evangelist's Church, Preston Village, Brighton

St John the Evangelist's Church features a long nave with five bays, stone-faced exteriors, tiled roofs, and multiple lancet windows throughout the structure.

The church obtained its parish status in 1908 after a fire severely damaged the original Preston parish church, St Peter's, leading to a transfer of responsibilities.

The church maintains regular Eucharist services on Sundays and Wednesdays, followed by a community cafe called Preston Coffee Pot for social gatherings.

Located at Knoyle Road in Brighton, the church offers various services including weddings, baptisms, and seasonal celebrations throughout the calendar year.

The building showcases Early English Revival architecture with a wooden and lead flèche at the east end of the nave, designed by Arthur Blomfield.
