The red-brick church building features pointed arches, a tall window on its northern face, and detailed architectural elements in the English Gothic style.
Originally constructed in 1909 as St Thomas the Apostle Anglican church, the building became a Coptic Orthodox church after its purchase in 1993.
The church serves Egyptian and Sudanese worshippers, maintaining Coptic Orthodox traditions through regular services, ceremonies, and religious education programs.
Located on Davigdor Road in Hove, the church offers Sunday school activities and youth programs for the local Coptic Orthodox community.
The church contains a 7.5-meter-tall iconostasis with Egyptian carvings, which was assembled on site by community volunteers in 2000.
