Richmond & Putney Unitarian Church, Religious building in Richmond upon Thames, England.
Richmond & Putney Unitarian Church is a church building in Richmond upon Thames featuring distinctive stained glass work. Its chancel displays five lancet windows created by Morris & Co in 1912 that line Ormond Road.
The building was designed by architect T Locke Worthington and constructed in 1896. A rear extension was added in 1966, designed by Kenneth Tayler to expand the structure.
The congregation gathers people from many belief backgrounds, including those who identify as agnostic or atheist, and emphasizes personal meaning-making alongside community service. You will find a space where different perspectives are genuinely welcomed and respected.
Services take place both in person and via simultaneous Zoom broadcasts, with access details available by email request. Contact info@rpuc.org.uk in advance to confirm meeting times and participation options.
The building hosts Dance for Health classes in partnership with Dance Health Alliance. These sessions provide movement activities specifically designed for people living with Parkinson's, Dementia, MS, and mobility challenges.
