St James' Church, Daisy Hill, Grade II* listed Gothic Revival church in Daisy Hill, England

St James' Church is a brick building in Gothic Revival style with terracotta detailing and pointed arch windows throughout. The bell turret on the roof and detailed tracery windows define the exterior appearance of the structure.

The church was designed in 1879 by the architectural firm Paley and Austin from Lancaster and completed in 1881. Its founding came from a private initiative by two sisters who funded the entire construction project.

The interior displays stained glass windows from Morris & Co that depict biblical scenes. The spaces preserve Victorian craftsmanship that reflects the religious sensibility of its era.

Access is available during regular worship services held throughout the week. The church is located in a quiet residential area and is easy to find.

The interior displays artwork by artist Alfred Charles Weatherstone, whose works are rarely seen in this region. These pieces give the church a special artistic character.
