St James the Less, Pimlico, Gothic Revival church in Pimlico, London.
The red brick church features a tall Italian-style tower, black brick details, and cast-iron railings topped with wrought-iron lily decorations.
George Edmund Street designed the church in 1858 as his first London commission, funded by three daughters of the Bishop of Gloucester.
The interior displays red and yellow glazed tiles, granite columns, and carved biblical scenes leading to a sanctuary decorated with mosaic and marble.
The church opens for private prayer from 9 AM to 2 PM on weekdays and offers regular services including Holy Communion and Midday Prayer.
The tower incorporates an original spire design with a central spike surrounded by four smaller spirelets, different from traditional English church architecture.
