St Peter's Church, Waverton, Anglican church in Waverton, England
The church features a substantial west tower built from red sandstone blocks topped with a pyramidal roof and Lakeland green slate covering.
Founded in the 16th century, St Peter's Church underwent significant modifications in 1845 and 1888 under the direction of architect John Douglas.
The interior preserves 17th-century roofs from 1635 and contains memorials dedicated to previous rectors and members of the Dutton family.
The church conducts Holy Communion services on the third Sunday of each month at 9:00 AM and main Sunday services at 10:15 AM.
A red sandstone sundial from 1731 stands in the churchyard, featuring a baluster on a square plinth with an inscribed brass plate.
