St Andrew's Church, Waterloo Street, Hove, Grade I listed church building in Waterloo Street, Hove, England.
The symmetrical stone church displays Italianate architecture with round columns, pointed arcade arches, and a ceiling decorated with celestial patterns including stars and planets.
Charles Barry designed this Anglican church in 1827 to serve the Brunswick estate, expanding it in 1834 to accommodate the increasing population of Waterloo Street.
The church maintains regular Sunday services at 10 AM with live streaming capabilities, offering downloadable activity sheets for children during worship sessions.
Located near the Brighton-Hove boundary, the church entrance features two shallow steps from the pavement, with internal fittings restricting wheelchair movement throughout the building.
The church interior contains baldacchinos installed in 1925 by Randoll Blacking over both the altar and font, incorporating Italian architectural elements into the English structure.
