Bowling Park, Bradford

Bowling Park is a 50-acre green space with winding paths connecting different areas and facilities throughout the grounds. It includes tennis courts, bowling greens, outdoor fitness equipment, and two children's playgrounds spread across the landscape.

Bradford Council created the park between 1878 and 1880 on land that was formerly part of Bolling Hall. Angus Holden led the official opening ceremony when it became a public space.

The park serves as a gathering place where neighbors meet for community events and tend the shared orchard. These activities bring people together and shape how the local area feels.

The park welcomes visitors year-round with free access to all facilities and recreational areas. Well-maintained pathways make it easy to walk around and explore the different zones.
