St Michael and All Angels Church, Little Leigh, Gothic Revival church in Little Leigh, England.
St Michael and All Angels Church is a brick structure in Gothic Revival style with a four-bay nave, short transepts, a one-bay chancel, and a south porch. A spire rises above the crossing and defines the building's profile from outside.
Architect Edmund Kirby designed this building in 1879 to replace an earlier chapel that belonged to the parish of Great Budworth. The new structure was built to serve the growing community in Little Leigh.
The interior reredos painted by Jabez Thompson depicts the Last Supper and uses consistent red brick and terracotta details throughout the space. These handcrafted elements shape how the church feels when you step inside.
The building is Grade II listed and can be viewed from outside, with the grounds surrounded by a churchyard. Parish records are held in the Cheshire Archives for genealogical research purposes.
The lychgate in the churchyard, built in 1882, features open timber framing and a roof of Lakeland slate. The grounds also hold two World War II graves that mark the site's connection to that era.
